I do not believe in ghosts...... none the less i have run into them.....not once but twice!!!
This incident happened in July 2007, our building has no night watchman and so the general practice is that someone closes all three entrance gates and locks them at night. This gate locking duty is given to every flat on a monthly basis and this July it was our turn.....
The gate opening time is at 5.30 in morning and obviously it was me who opened the gate since my dad refused to wake up so early in the morning and thats that as far as he's concerned.
It was in the peak of monsoon and had rained pretty heavily that night. I was not wearing my specs so the world was hazy and i was in a chaddi and t shirt so it was bloody cold.....
The moment i unlocked the small gate i heard a shrill screech or shriek and it startled me real bad...drove out all the sleep.....it was coming from the top of the building opposite mine......
But i couldn't see anything clearly. So I just thought it must be some kind of bird or a bat or something and started walking towards the main gate.
Just then i heard that screech again, and it sent shivers down my spine, may be it was the cold.....but it got me really psyched up.....
I then unlocked the main gate and the moment i unlatched it, again that shriek but this time it was right over me and much louder.....and i almost jumped out of my skin.......and the moment i got up and turned i saw a some 10 feet from me a pair of eyes staring right at me.......
and i almost pissed right there i was so shaken up that i could almost have shouted......
and then i realized it was my own reflection and my own eyes staring right back at me from the watchman cabin window........
but for that one moment i was almost dead!!!

this is my first ever post......
Now more than anything else, this blog is going to record things that i find wierd, interesting, ironical, anything thats has me floored or flabbergasted or whatever......
Unfortunately....todays been real sad with absolutely nothing interesting happening....too bad.....
But i guess tomorrow is another day and we'll just take it in as it comes......
